Accuride picks Wixom location

Accuride Corp. is moving its Northville operations to a high-tech building in Wixom.

The company chose its new space for its easy freeway access to I-96, as well as for the image of the building, said David Giltner of Signature Associates, who represented the landlord, CBG Property LLC, in the 10-year lease.

 

New Life, New Jobs Coming to Wixom

WIXOM, Mich. (WXYZ) - Ford Chairman Bill Ford Jr. and Michigan Governor Jennifer Granholm unveiled plans to redevelop the shuttered Wixom Assembly plant into a giant renewable energy park.

, a German manufacturer of Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM), will open a 24,000 sq. ft. manufacturing facility in Wixom, Mich. on Oct. 9, 2007. The two-story building will house administrative and engineering offices, production operations for the Wenzel X-Orbit and LH series of bridge style CMMs, and a customer training and demonstration facility.
